I have known Ella since I was a young girl as Ella worked nights with my mum Anne Raby, I later had the privilege of working night duty with Ella myself when I became a staff nurse. I was on nights with Ella on her first night back on duty after the loss of Bobby....I dont think there was a person on duty that night who did not come through our ward doors at some point during the night to give their love & support to Ella. A truly remarkable lady well loved and respected and greatly missed Shirley
